What’s the story behind the Surge Series?
It came from watching the rhythm of sea washing beaches and rock sediment lines during a hike after a storm. The earth felt heavy, still wet from the rain, but the air was alive. That tension, between stillness and movement, is what Surge is built on. It doesn’t just represent a flow. It carries it.
Surge feels sharper and more directional than Wave. Why is that?
Surge has more vertical energy. The lines don’t just drift. They lean. There’s momentum in the form, almost like a frequency building up pressure before release. It was designed for people who want presence in their room, who want to feel lifted, engaged, not just calmed.
What inspired the visual aesthetic of Surge?
I was thinking of volcanic sediment flows, striated sandstone, and the shapes wind cuts into cliffs. Things that look like they were pushed by time. Surge echoes those forms, but in a way that feels designed rather than eroded. It has intent.
What do you want people to feel when they look at or touch Surge?
A sense of movement. Like something is shifting, inside the panel, inside the room, inside them. Surge isn’t loud, but it has momentum. It doesn’t calm you down. It wakes the space up.

How We Measured This Performance
We tested our panels in a real room — not a simulation. Using REW software, a calibrated mic, and our own space, we measured real acoustic improvements. Then we calibrated our results using certified lab data from our Surge panel.
