Compare panels
Pick up to three and see them side by side: how much sound each absorbs, its size, and its price today.
From bass to treble
What each panel absorbs across the sounds in a room, octave by octave: higher absorbs more.
NRC: how much sound a surface absorbs, averaged across the range of the voice; higher absorbs more. Lab-tested: Surge Pro and Wave at National Taiwan Ocean University, the Art Series at National Taiwan University, both to ASTM C423-22. Measured: Massform office REW measurement. Calculated or estimated: not measured; "How we know" says how. Foam and fibre boards: one common product of each type, bare, from its maker’s published laboratory test, brand not named; not measured by Massform; tested flat, with no air gap (the mineral wool sheet does not state its mounting). The chart shows octave bands, each the mean of its three third-octave bands (the EN ISO 11654 method); curves from Massform’s office room are drawn from 250 Hz, as below about 200 Hz the room’s own resonances swamp the panel. Prices and stock are live; sizes from Massform’s catalogue.
